Is it alright if I don't take out my activated carbon and use reef Flux? I know it says to take it out but what will happen if I don't.

Can I turn off my filter and skimmer for the first 72 hours just so I don't have to take out the carbon. I have an external filter no sump so harder for me to remove Carbon.

Yea. Carbon removes organic and inorganic materials from water so you want get the most out of it with the carbon left in. Sure you can leave it in, you might now see results as fast

Yes, that should be fine. I just wouldn’t run carbon while you are treating.

Leave your carbon in and skip the harsh chemicals. Get and urchin and a few turbos. Cleaned up my mess in a month.

reef flux will do literally nothing with GHA. Best removal is pulling as you much as you can by hand and reducing white light intensity and adding snails such as:
astrea
turbo grazer
nerite
trochus

10 blue leg carribean hermit
pencil urchin

is tank at or near a window?
What is your phosphate level ?
What test kits are you using?
Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet ?
