Hi @muz_z I´m awake again - its morning here

Try with your public IP without :80 in the end. It works for me with the P4. I set up two connections one for P4 home (with my private IP adress) and one for P4 away (with my public IP adress without any :80 in the end)

i have tried but dosent work with just ip
i have a dns setup for home cameras and used for last app and web server which work fine just not the app

I have a P4 - maybe there is differences between the two. but if you are able reach the webinterface - I think its good. I like the old web Interface in P3. In some ways - its better than the app I think.

Yes you maybe be right Lasse
I have put a post on GHL forum with the issue
I will report back with what the problem is
Maybe it’s time to upgrade to a P4
Although there is nothing wrong with my P3ex

It is trying to connect but comes up as if I had GCC open on Pc

Well to let everyone know I have just seen an update on iOS and update my GHL connect app and now I could see port
It was automatically set to 10001 so I set up port forward for port 10001 and after all day trying everything to get it to work it is now working outside my network.....
I had a reply on GHL forum saying they will fix in the next update but it had already been done
So happy camper here can use the app internal now and external woo hoo
