GHL Connection issues

I cannot connect through wifi to my 2 mitras LX7s or my 2.1 doser after the equipment has been on a few hours. To connect I have to unplug and restart the equipment, then I'm able to connect wirelessly. I've always had this problem since I bought the Mitras, but now its starting to annoy me after just receiving the doser.

Also, I can't connect to the Mitras through the GHL connect app, only the doser.

Really need some help, thanks.

Are you clicking on disconnect when you are done? I used to have that problem when I would close out the application without disconnecting first.

Possibly, I've never thought to disconnect before. I'll try it out.

Do you have the mitras? Are you able to connect them through the app

Yup. I have 2 Mitras and a Profilux 4. I used to get frustrated because I could connect with MyGHL but not GCC. Once I started using the disconnect command, I haven't had a problem.

You know, I've never even downloaded the app. Never had a reason to but I guess I should give that a try.

ive had my ghl 2.1 doser for 2 weeks i am annoyed with it i contacted ghl and all they say is watch the videos on there website if i still cant program it send a screen shot of the error did it still nothing im trying to sell mines do not have time for complicated equipment goin old school manual dosing dont need programming for it

Minimum WiFi firmware is 6619 and mine is only 6407.

I'm not going to play with it tonight, but I'll work with it tomorrow and see if I can get it. You might want to check yours.

i dont have a mitras just the 2.1 4 pump doser i downloaded the app but i cannot connect wifi i need to plug it via usb to do any programming whats the use having a phone app and cant use it if it was neptune systems they can do everything via teamview finder for you needed a 4 pump doser for the triton method thats y i didnt buy the apex dos

yours looks different than mine. Mine says firmware 1.07

I think you were right about disconnecting when using GCC. I havent had an issue connecting wirelessly since then

The WiFi module has different firmware than the main lighting controller. Connect to your Mitras and go to the Communication page. At the bottom of the page it shows the WiFi status and firmware version. That is where my screenshot came from.

You have to update the wifi module seperate from everything else. Pain in the but but it helps.

Jeez, I just took my entire light rack to my computer and thought the firmware was all good, didn't know about the wifi update module, but I think tthis can be updated through a wireless connection. I downloaded something from ghl and the directions were to connect to the mitras through the IP address and install the downloaded files. I did this and kept getting errors.

I hope to have time tonight to try and update my Mitras Wifi firmware so maybe I can help there. I did have problems updating my Profilux controller and believe I ended up needing to use the Chrome browser to install it.
