GHL Control Center closes when I click on "SAVE" after programming TIMERS

I just got a new P4 to replace one that burned out. I'm reprogramming everything and have had no problems until I tried to program TIMERS. After setting times and days I click SAVE and GCC shuts down. When I restart GCC, nothing is saved. This seems to be only a problem with the PROCESSES (Timers). (I haven't set up the app yet).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

No ideas on what could be the issue, but a couple of questions:

Is the P4 running the latest firmware?

Have you tried programming from the webserver through your browser?

Also, I'm guessing you did not have a backup of your settings to just reload?

Yes 7.31.

You can access your P4 by typing its IP address into your browser. This is the webserver.

When you get your P4 all programmed save a copy of the settings and sensor data, save a copy anytime you make programming changes. This way if there is ever an issue with your P4 you can just reload the settings from a file. In GCC it's done from the Backup and restore tab.

There must be an issue with this version of GCC. I just tried to program a timer and the program crashed on me. It saved when just the time was entered, but crashed when I selected a day of the week and hit save.

I would submit a ticket.

That is exactly what I am finding: cuts out when I put in a DAY. I wonder if I can work timers for lights by using the DAY INTERVAL and "REPEAT ALL" set to 1 day and START set to 1. GCC doesn't cut out when I do that and hit SAVE.

Ok, not sure. If you type it in and hit enter it should connect. As long as the P4 is connected to your wifi.

P4 is connected with USB. Haven't worked on wifi connection. That will have to be for another day. Will need to read up on that.

Seems to be a bug in GCC 1.1.3.9. I can repeat the problem with my experiment P4. The problem is also present when you use this GCC in TCP/IP mode not only with USB. The problem seems connected to the specific day mode on the timer. It works well if you use day interval mode. For myGHL and the inbuilt web server - it works well even with specific day mode. Specific day mode seems to work for dosers

Issue occurs only if "Repeat all" is set to 0 days.
Just select "Day interval" mode then switch back to "Specific days of the week" and issue will never occurs again.
It only occurs on never set timers.
Will be fixed in next GCC.
