GHL KHD Reading Low

Yeah it is a constant 6.8 but my tank is at a 7.7 because I had a dosing pump go crazy on me earlier today...so that was fun.

Not sure of any other reason I would be reading so far off. If the heads were worn out some even after calibration would that cause an issue like this?

It’s the pinch valve Normal. I mean you are getting consistent results. Maybe calibrate the probe again. Also make sure you refill with some saltwater since you’re spending 80 mls a test. If your rodi is running you don’t want to drop your sg

Yeah I have the free dose head dosing 80 ml of saltwater lol

I can try that out tomorrow, Its a pain to calibrate.

Hey what is your firmware version? Mine is from 2020 I think

Where exactly do you measure for the sample tube volume or how many ml” , from
The filter to tube inserting into the dosing beige tubing ?

Mine is version 1.00 I don’t think there is an updated version
So this morning I recalibrated the sample line, recalibrated the probes, same results.

I saw something about moving the filter to the sump, so I cut new sample lines and when I went to put the filter on I noticed that it said honda..interesting. Decided to test without it, and have had the closest reading yet, KHD 6.6 Salifert 7.1.

I just ran one test but there's one on the schedule for 12 ill let run and see if it improves.

I hope so. Any other suggestions I can do?
You can open up the box and double check that the reagent line has no air bubbles. Also make sure the end of the line that goes into the bottle isn’t getting stuck to the bottom of the bottle in a vacuum. To me it seems there isn’t enough reagent getting into the sample. Or too much sample. How big is your tank?
