I’ve purchased a khd . And wondered how many of you return the sample water to your aquarium ?

I hope that no one do that!!!!!! At least if you mean a KH test or GHL KH director. It is chemicals in there.

there is already a thread on this where quite a few people return the test water back into the tank and have had 0 negative results. I would search for it

It is a strong acid - it will lower the pH. Do not do that.

I definitely agree as there is no point in putting that back into the tank. However there is an article about people doing with it no affect on ph is the tank is big enough.
