Hi all: I have run three GHL Mitras LX7206 over my tank for the last five years. I have been very happy with these lights but lately I have the feeling that my corals are not doing well and light could be one of the reasons. Besides, I have a persistent plague of Amphidinium dinos and some ciano and, after several unsuccessful treatments, I'm beginning to consider a shift in the light spectrum as one of the causes.

I wonder how many of you have changed the LED clusters in your Mitras fixture and experienced that it improved the tank illumination and coral growth and colour.

I changed the pucks on the 6 series when I had them several times. I saw a big improvement from the change. I was changing spectrum each time though. You will notice that the uv need changing out more than the main pucks.

After 5 years the refresh will be inviting I think.
