I have not seen many tanks with these and I figured I would start playing with mine while the tank fills. Here is a thunderstorm simulation. I’m still learning what else they will do

There are allot of people on the forum that use GHL Mitras lights. The lightning feature of any LED light IMO is just a gimmick sort of speak to draw someone in for the "wow" look at that. It was more of thing when LED's first came out and a draw for new aquarist. Having the sound and everything is cool if you have like and exhibit. I have seen one with reptiles and the smoker and lightning and sound before the rain sprinklers kicked on. But it has no value on a home reef IMO. You want people over looking at your reef and not a flashing light show. If you like your fish in the tank and not on the floor. Then you need to forget all about that.

Now the cloud features of the mitras is a great feature and works well. Start building your lighting schedule manually and you will really enjoy the power of the lights.
