GHL Profilux controller for Mas Aqua lamp...

Hi there!

I’d like to know if there is any chance to connect any GHL Profilux controller to a Mars Aqua lamp.

Due to Profilux has 4x 1V-10V interfaces for connection of dimmable lights or controlled pumps....just wondering if it is possible or not.
Just modding Mars Aqua by switching the dimmable knobs controllers with RJ 45 cables to be connected to the Profilux...?
I’m not an expert...so maybe somebody of you as Mr.Michael Lane could say something about it ....

I’m gonna get the cheapest controller among the Profilux ones so that the Profilux light:

This will require some rewiring of the mars aqua. Basically yes the light uses 0-10v but there is no port to connect. You need to instead cut out the current controller and feed to a breakout box.

As I wrote...I know I have to mod the wiring system of the Mars Aqua to fit the Profilux device...but just wondering if it is enough to do this to connect properly eachothers without any other mod like pwm etc...

Anyway...

I really don’t know what a break box is but I took a look at here:

I’m totally a rookie in electronics...

I just got an answer from the GHL support and they suggested me to ask to their forum due to a member opened and wired his lamp himself over an EVG-AP-2F.

-You should kindly explain me what to do with the break box device...

I am actually not that great at electronics tbh. the breakout box is what allows you to connect to one of the 0-10v ports on tge profilux. This will still require modding the light. My black box was nonwifi so not entirely sure how your led driver works. I would repost in the thread i posted to get more knowledgeable members to give directions on how to make this work

Also my lamp is not a wifi one...

Is not possible to connect directly the Mars Aqua ( once it will be modded with Rj12 cable )to be connected to the device controller?
Is Break box that necessary to fit the properly connection?
Anyway...I will follow your suggestion and I will repost it there...
