Ghost feeding question

I believe my tank has cycled as I wrote previously, but want to be sure before I add any life to the tank. Someone mentioned ghost feeding some flake. I don't see much information about how much or how often. I understand the process, but could use a bit more info on the procedure. Thanks in advance.
60 gallon, 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 5 nitrate, pH 7.4 salinity 1.021(salt tweeked today) temp 78°

You would just (ghost) feed the amount you think you would normally feed your fish.
