ghost overflow box

finally upgrading again after my last downgrade, yay!! going to an all glass 75 gallon non drilled and was wondering if there's a difference between all these ghost overflow boxes. eshopps, synergy who has one that can possibly give me some tips and pointers on which one they like. maybe some pros and cons of different brands. plus which size box to handle good flow.

my setup will include a 75 gallon baffled for sump with a mag 9.5 for return a curve 7 skimmer and will most likely add a manifold if I have enough gph with that return pump.

I'd suggest the Synergy "Shadow" overflow mainly because it involves less DIY plumbing and is injection molded. No need for three bulkheads in the outer box.

Agree. I have the shadow and love it. Although it did make me realize how loud my refrigerator is in the next room.

great, thanks for the reply. Placement is more of a preference correct? I was thinking in the middle of the tank.

Middle makes the most sense usually. Returns to the sides of it.
