Ok so I put in chemipure elite in media tower in biocube 32. I’ve been battling the ghr since I got the tank from my boss. Well I believe it’s killing it now it’s turning brown. Should I get out of the tank or let it run it’s course?

Is it true that green hair algae turns white when dying? I seen on a google search that if it is turning brown that it would be diatom

Each time you do a water change, take out a rock (or four) and scrub the stuff hard. Then rinse it in the old tank water and pop it back in. Point is to export that material from the tank to lower the nutrients. With some patience and elbow grease you can certainly win.

It’s getting better by the day! Here are some photos. I know I still have a lot of work to do and a lot of rocks to fill
