Giant white snail without a shell

Anyone know what this is? It’s like a giant white snail without a shell. About the size of my thumb and came out of the sand. I bought a couple white nassarius snails about a month ago. Could this be one of them? I couldn’t really make out a shell on him though.

Sorry for the low light. My internet is down and I don’t know how to control my lights without the apex.

Do they get that big? This thing was huge! It seemed pretty harmless though, just was crawling through the sand. Probably looking for something to eat.

I was wondering that, but how did it get there? It would have had to been really small to come in as a hitchhiker. It must have grown a lot and fast too because the tank is only 6 months old.

I'm assuming that the front end is facing left, up on the shell? Not seeing any of the structures I generally associate with the head of a snail . . .

Yes, the front end is starting to crawl over the shell.

Following along for the answer, my initial thought was stomatella as well, but as @tdileo said, i've never seen a pure white one
