I recently purchased a 60-inch Giesemann Aurora T5/LED Hybrid Fixture second hand. I have the light plugged in, but when I try to connect the software to the light via Bluetooth it cannot find the light. I've tried it on two separate devices (android and PC) with no luck. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to find the device?

Thanks!

Thank you for alerting us! Yesterday was @Michael@CoralVue's birthday so he was out.

Your best bet is to contact our tank techies by emailing [email protected]. Within our support portal, they can search through every reported case of a Bluetooth issue with Giesemann fixtures (assuming there are any) and see how they were resolved. Your ticket is likely to be answered by the staffer with the most experience with thr Giesemann product line, which is another benefit.

You can also open a ticket by using the link in my signature (may not show on mobile).

Sorry for the trouble!

turn bluetooth off on the device vyou are using. It can only be android. Does not support IOS. Also make sure you are using Futura App. Not Aurora app. Aurora app does not work. Turn bluetooth off android device. It will then tell you to turn on and it will appear. Their software is nuts but a great light.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I sent a message to Coralvue support as suggested. I got one response asking which app I used. I replied to that but didn't hear back. I just sent them another message.

@fishnugget1 I got the Futura app and tried the steps you suggested, but still cannot get the light to show up. I pushed "look for devices" multiple times, but nothing showed up.

I tried looking for a Bluetooth pairing button on the fixture but didn't see one. We have tried the app on 3 different android phones, and a laptop.
