Now earlier the post that is missing you had some info next to each bulb name. Was this your thoughts on them or is that giesemann's? If that was yours would you care to repost that?

Also what bulbs did you use prior to this and how did the numbers compare between the two

That are some good questions, these were Giesemann quotes on the bulbs.
No need to repost as it's on their site.
Prior to this I was running a combo of older Geisemann's and a other brand.
As long this is a Geisemann thread in the CoralVue Sponsor page I have to leave it with that.

Fair enough. I'll check it out

Thank you

I see you're a @Battlecorals fan too.
Nothing wrong with some first class corals in your tank.
Yeah big fan of bc Adam has been taking care of me for a while . It's about that time to switch my bulbs and wanted to give this brand a shot . When that combo you just told would it give me a more blue then what I have now on that picture?

Super Actinic in combo with Coral Blue it should.
FYI, to much blue is pleasing the eye but not the overall happiness of your corals, you should reach a good PAR level on daylight for your corals.

Aqua Blue
Super purple
Super Actinic
Aqua Blue.
You can swap the Super Purple out for Tropics.

This is about giesemann t5 bulb's, not really a fixture, but i believe Diesel uses and 8x80w ati fixture.

I'll join in on the fun here too : ) I have ran t5's for 6yrs now and always used ATI, but moved on to Giesemann in the last 6mths and really like the color options. The par didn't drop vs ATI as well. Very quality t5 bulb's and I will buy them again when they need to be replaced.

Thanks for the info. Do you if its a sunpower or a powermodule? What fixture do you like. Sorry i just am looking for the best fixture for these bulbs

Advice for a 4 bulb t5 2 single ended 250 watt mh combo?

I currently run it on a 75 gallon sps dominant tank-not quite colonies but bigger than frags.

The bulbs I currently have stock Hamilton 14k mh bulbs, 3 stock Hamilton actinic and 1 ati purple plus. Run the t5s for 12 hrs the mh for 8 hrs.

I don't hate the color, obviously I want the best health in my corals but I feel as if it's a little to white.

Diesel,
I was talking to someone in the business in my area about T5 bulbs. In his expert opinion, the Geisseman bulbs are made with the exact same gases as ATI bulbs. Do you have any information that would state differently?

I have the ATI Hybrid an need to change my lights..I currently have 2 blue plus ..1 coral plus an one super actinic all ATI ..what would you recommend for my tank...mostly LPS/softies,zoas an a couple sps..the tank is only a 50 gallon 36 long...that is using the Geisman bulbs...thanks..

I'm using the new Vervve LED from them and so far I don't have 1 complaint, everything pops and is beautiful!!
