So I have an SB Reef Light 30" with lens taken off. Blues are at 100, whites are at 40. I want to add single bulb T5 fixtures to each side, but I can't choose between Actinic Blue and Super Actinic.

Which one would be best? Please no other brand suggestions like ATI, however, you can make other bulb suggestions like Super Purple.

Are you wanting more blue light, or more white light. What is the goal with the T5's

To be honest if it were me and I were running those LED's, and I were to flank them by one bulb on each side, I'd run a pair of Giesemann 6500K Tropics. I would want to fill out the specrum as much as possible. And I'd run those bulbs during the mid day bright peak.

If you're wanting it to just be a hair brighter with better growth, use the Giesemann Actinic Blue

If you want deeper richer fluorescence at night, use the Super actinics. I don't like the idea of not matching them because then you'll get color banding, or at least in my mind you would

I actually like the 6500K idea, but my LFS doesn't sell it lol. I just want more par and bring out my acro colors more, maybe a bit more growth don't hurt as well. I guess Actinic Blues it is.

What fixture(s) are you going to use on either side of the LED? Actinic Blues make sense to me, but I’d say grab a few bulbs and swap them around until you’re happy, you may settle on something like a Purple and a Blue.
