Has anyone ever had to repair a Giesemann metal halide/t5 hybrid, and if so where did you source the parts?
I have a Giesemann Spectra with a cracked T5 socket, and the fixture is missing the female side of the white five hole connector. I found the parts on Giesemann’s website, but it’s all based in Germany.

Reach out to coralvue! I had a cracked t5 socket as well and was able to buy replacements from them.

I thought about that, so I sent them an email. I just heard back from them today. The way they told me to place the order’s a little different, so we’ll see how it goes. The rep told me to checkout and the cart will update with the shipping charge, but after I put in my address the site automatically changed the shipping to pickup/contact for shipping.
No idea what the shipping will be yet, but I figure they’ll let me know when they confirm my order. Thanks for the help y’all!

I recently purchased splash shields for my 60” Aurora directly from Giesemann, ordered on a Monday & package showed up that Thursday. Pretty impressive I thought however standard shipping did cost right about $100

Better off buying something else. I needed the end cAps and metal piece and it’s was to expensive in my book to do it. It’s literally been sitting in my garage for about 1.5-2 years now collecting dust. I just took photos to try and sell it.

That is ridiculously expensive shipping. I contacted Giesemann directly and for a 4 pack of the T5 end caps it was going to be about $45 shipped, which isn’t terrible because I love my Spectra. But when you know $35 of that is shipping it’s hard to do. So I contacted coralvue to see if they had any Giesemann parts on hand or could get them, seeing as they are Giesemann suppliers here. Turns out they had the caps and with shipping it was $10, and customer service was outstanding.
