Giesmann new t5 bulbs

So I ordered my giesmann bulbs... here's what I'm doing:

Actinic blue
Super purple
Tropic
Super actinic

360we kessil X 3

Super purple
Tropic
Super actinic
Actinic blue

any1 is using these bulbs? Especially the tropic? I know Adam is using this combo, which is why I am trying it out.

How white is it? I do like a bluer tank than white. I can adjust the kessils to make the tank more blue if need be.

I run Geisemann lamps

2 actinic blues

2 super actinics

1 aquablue-coral

1 super purple

in My Giesemann Matrixx II

I am not a fan of the look of the purple but my corals seem to love them so I am afraid to switch it out..

I really like the aquablue-coral and I really want to try the azure.

The tropic would be like running the GE 6500k t-5 lamps.. They are great for growth but really green...

Any how I have been loving these new Giesemann lamps...

Can anyone compare the Geisemann bulbs to their ATI equivalents?
I'm looking for good color descriptions. Something like, "The Geisemann Bulb X is similar to the ATI Bulb X but it looks a tad more blue."

Probably something like this:

AquaBlue Coral = ATI aquablue special.

Actinic Blue = ATI blue plus

Super actinic = ATI True actinic

Super purple = ATI purple plus

Tropic = GE 6500 K lamps

Aquablue azure = nothing

I have read somewhere that the green and red is great for coloring up sps. Not sure.

I have 3 kessils to adjust the color of the tank if I need to. I feel like running the aquablue with this combo is too blue.

I am wonder how it will turn out with those tropic bulbs... I'll keep this post updated.

I didn't to go with 2x aquablue coral instead of the tropic bulbs. Aquablue coral is similar to the coral+ without the pink.

Can't wait to try them out and see how my corals respond.

Do you have any pictures of your tank? I am thinking about ordering the giesemann matrixx ii fixture and not sure what bulbs to get with it. Im going for a more white color.

Don't have the bulbs yet. I will once I have them on.

I would recommend running 1 aqua azure and 2 aqua coral with the blue, actinic, and super purple..

That'll give you a whiter look with the "pop" that people like with their corals.

I have 3 kessils 360we to make my tank more white during midday. They run at about 14k peak. I love that option with a hybrid system. I can tweak it however I want and still get the full spectrum of colors for my corals.

That's a good comparison, I have to ad to that IMO the Giesemanns are just a bit deeper in color, with other words the corals are richer in color.

I need to take a day to check out your tank. Can't wait to get the giesmann up and running.

How's the growth and do you see any improvement in color?
