Giessmann Blue vs ATI Blue+ Which is a deeper blue T5?

So here is my dilemma. I have a 180g peninsula w/ 6 bulb T5s and 2 AI Sol Blues down the middle. I originally had this set up:

ATI Blue+
ATI Coral+
ATI Blue+
Sol Blues
ATI Blue+
ATI Purple +
ATI Blue+

Then changed out the 2 outside ATI Blue+ bulbs to ATI True Atinics.
Not too thrilled with it.

I am actually looking for just a little deeper blue (Why I went with the ATI atinic) and haven't tried the Giessmann bulbs and wondered if I would get a deeper blue look and better growth if I changed out 2 of the bulbs to the Giessman Blue bulbs.

Thoughts anyone?

The gman actinic blues are a little less green that the blue plus and more blue. They're very nice bulbs and are similar to blue+ but the subtle differences are quite nice.

I was thinking of replacing only 2 of the 4 blue+ with 2 Giessmann blues. Seems like it would be a nice mix.

That's what I'm currently doing on my ati fixture.

I haven't used the giessman bulbs before but would be very interested to hear what others have to say.

Pacific Sun has a Blue bulb that is a deep blue. Reviews have been lackluster on PAR and bulb life form the Pac Sun's however.

I have both and the giessmann actinic bulbs are bluer. The blue plus put off more of a red/pink color more than blue

GIESEMANN T-5 / super actinic
I only use Giesemann love their bulbs and light fixtures.

I got all Geisemann Bulbs and they just put a more richer color out.
And yes I ran all ATI's before this.
ATI is a great bulb, no doubt and it grow coral like crazy, I just wanted it a bit more pop.

They are nearly identical in appearance. Very few people would be able to spot the difference.

What Giessman bulbs are you using to get that color?

I know it seems impossible, but I swear if the 2 bulbs are next to each other and have sufficient burn in time, I can easily tell them apart. Both are great and I actually use a mix of the 2

You will love the Geisemann bulbs.. I am not sure individually you will see much difference between those two bulbs they are very similar in appearance. I run the Ati bulbs on my downstairs tanks and have been trying out the Giesemann bulbs upstairs tank... I am going to switch out to all Giesemann lamps.. I have never had issues with ATI lamps and they have been really good but the Giesemann just seem to have a little more pop and my corals are coloring up a little more and growth has increased.
