LFS has this one in stock for a reasonable price. Are able to tell if it’s a gig or haddoni? Im thinking haddoni but I'm never certain. Sorry for the crappy pics

Thanks! Theres definitely some verrucae. I knew that had some to do with identifying it but wasn’t certain

Just fyi- Next time turn off the blue lights. The pic is really not good for an identification.

It’s the LFS’s tank. I was trying to get an Id before possibly buying it. I knew they weren’t the best pics

So I bought it as either way it was a great deal. I have Cipro on hand just in case but it was at the LFS for a couple weeks before I bought it. Sorry for the crappy instore pics and the in bag pics were more for ID purposes. My only concern is I don’t know if carpets typically have colored foots. The blue hue in the in bag pics is true to the eyes soo yea

Thanks! It appears to have settled right in. Now to see if my clown goes for it. Odds are probably not as it’s never shown any interest in anemones before but who knows.

It appears to be in good shape, especially for being at the LFS for two weeks. If it deflates (even once!) or expels brown pellets, move it to QT right away.

Thanks! Unfortunately it didn’t make it. It looked great, then went through a deflate cycle. Not sure if I did Cipro wrong but Cipro only seemed to make it worse in this case. I was honestly disappointed as it was at the LfS for a good bit ( a couple weeks at least) so thought it was pretty healthy).

I don't think Cipro is typically the direct cause of the demise of an anemone. Unfortunately, if Cipro isn't able to help, it usually means the anemone was too far gone by the time treatment was started. With gigantea, I usually have a one month window, meaning it'll either make it or die in that month.

Sitting in a LFS for a couple of weeks without Cipro treatment might've allowed the pathogen to gain a foothold.
