Hi

My gigantea carpet is touching my Duncan coral, so far I see no damage being inflicted. Can I leave the Duncan coral where it is, or better move it for its long term well being?

Furthermore, I wonder if the anemone gets too much flow. As you can see from below pictures it’s shape changes quite a lot. Not sure if this is fine?

thanks!

It's always best to have some clearance between the gig and coral. The gig will most likely win, but it's not likely that both will get along (at least in my experience).

Regarding flow, gigs really can't have too much. They use their verrucae to pin themselves down. However, you may want to change the flow pattern so that it avoids "letting the skirt ride up" but instead have the flow coming down on top of it.

Thanks will move the Duncan a bit and check if I can get the flow better.

Agree 100 percent.
That gig looks nice and healthy too.
