Can I feed him to stop him from eating my fish, such as my coral beautyYes. Need strong lighting, strong random flow, and stable water conditions.
Unfortunately noCan I feed him to stop him from eating my fish, such as my coral beauty
Can I get my clowns to host him to shoo fish away and what are the chances out of /10 of him even doing it, sorry I cannot find this stuff online.Unfortunately no
Naturally host ocellairus clowns. It's best to get a clown species that it will host in wild. Fish are not interested in carpets and will hit them by accidents when started or being chased. Clowns don't care when the carpet catches a fish. It lets it eat the fish IME.Can I get my clowns to host him to shoo fish away and what are the chances out of /10 of him even doing it, sorry I cannot find this stuff online.
Okay, I do have Ocellaris so should I just leave light on longer in the day so the angelfish just doesn't walk in there.Naturally host ocellairus clowns. No. To be honest with you, most fish will eventually be victim to carpets. I've lost about 4 fishes to carpets (tang, blenny, jawfish, wrasse) over past twelve months. They can be good for a long time and then they're gone. Don't get a carpet if you like your fish.O

Oh.. I love carpets..No. To be honest with you, most fish will eventually be victim to carpets. I've lost about 4 fishes to carpets (tang, blenny, jawfish, wrasse) over past twelve months. They can be good for a long time and then they're gone. Don't get a carpet if you like your fish.
Then you need to create a tank that revolves around the carpet.Oh.. I love carpets..

Maybe get rid off my angelfish? Then you need to create a tank that revolves around the carpet.![]()
I might just go with mini maxis, I do plan on a clown harem but I already have the angelfish and I value a life much more than visual appeal, but can a mini maxi look like a carpet but without the size? Like all the bumps and curves on a carpet and same feeding response? Sorry for hijacking this thread by the way.In large tank most fish can stay away from carpets a lot of the time. I lost 4 or so fish over the last 4 years to my carpets.
In small tanks, 40 gal, a large carpet will catch a lot of the fish.
I suggested that you keep carpets in small species tank.
I lost a female Eightline Flasher wrasse, Bluethroat fairy wrasse, Labouti fairy wrasse, and a Leopard wrasse to my Carpets over the last 4 years. Maybe one or two more that I forgot.
No mini maxi cannot compare.I might just go with mini maxis, I do plan on a clown harem but I already have the angelfish and I value a life much more than visual appeal, but can a mini maxi look like a carpet but without the size? Maybe I should buy a small gigantean? There is a online store here in Australia selling a cream gigantean that is 15cm big, you can see it at geemarine. No mini maxi cannot compare.
