Here are a couple of my gigs from today. Still have 7 of them. That blue I’ve had since 2013. The rest are from 2014. Tank is a disaster. Lost all coral. But gigs are all doing well.

Very nice.

Full tank shot please. They are so beautiful. Good job.
Thanks. Full tank shot is sad. I only cleaned a small section last week to see to clear out my clogged overflows. I’m not living at the home anymore. Wife’s boyfriend threatened to kill me, so I sneak in the home for 20 minutes a day when no one is home to add kh and calcium, top off ro water, and put algae sheet in the food clip. Then run out of the house before I get killed. This tank is one day away from catastrophe, although I’ve considered just unplugging the tank to get her out... If I get my home back, I’d love to rehab the tank, but sadly looks like everything in the tank may die. I’m expecting wife, or her meathead boyfriend to dump something into the tank any day now. No water changes since summer. It’s totally neglected.

Here’s from my 20 minute trip today.

Sorry to hear about your personal situation. Hope you get your reef back. Are all those powerheads on the front glass?

I had a big willow tree and a neighbour kept suggesting I should take it down because big winds always scattered branches everywhere.

One day, the willow tree misteriously died.

A few days later I was talking to that neighbour and I told her:

"You can't imagine how relievef I am that tree is gone. I had hired a guy to come and take it down, but on the day we had agreed, he had a stroke, although he is a young guy. A few weeks later I hired another guy and he was already on his way here when he received a phone call saying his son had a car accident. He spent a lot of time in the hospital and he's now paraplegic. I am so happy I had nothing to do with that tree's death, I normally don't believe this kind of stuff, but I think that there was something wrong with that tree, I am so relieved it's gone".

Please come up with something to protect your tank.

Those gigs are beautiful. I don't know if you're the religious type, but I'm sending a prayer up for you anyway.
Thanks. I’ll take all that I can get! Religious means repetitive... relationship with the maker that died in my place over rides repetition. :)

That was a good story you told. I really appreciate that, that story could turn into a thread if it’s own with deep meaning.

My tank is not my top priority. Protecting the tank is not reasonable. Arson is looming on the horizon. Her boyfriend is a felon. Tank isn’t easily moved, 300 gallons of water.... I wish I knew a local that could handle all my stuff in their tank for a while, but finding someone local with a 2’x6’ footprint sitting and waiting is not a reality.

A garbage can as a temp tank may happen soon though.

I’m gutting the tank. So transfer of EVERYTHING is happening in 12 hours. Tank has been prepped and has 40 gallons of fresh salt water waiting. It’s a 125 with (2) 20 longs drilled together for the sump. Same skimmer will be transferred. Rock and water will get transferred, so about 110 gallons of old water and rocks are being moved. Fish and all 7 anemones. Should work with no probs. I’m kind of pressed for time, so the back never got painted black, lots of visual details got missed, but right now I need function. Here it is tonight.... 24 hours from now will be full reef...

Nice collection of gigs, glad to see you able to get back in right hands, good luck to you and post pics after transfer.

Thanks guys. With the help of my honorable family members, they encouraged me to get it all out before the bleach bottle spilled. I found a 6’ long 125 on Craigslist for $235 with stand and canopy included. I always s liked this dimension. I spent another 150 in silicone, plumbing, and resealed the tank. Another $43 for (2 tanks for sump)dollar per gallon 20 gallon Longs from petco, another 50 on bulkheads, I drilled, sealed, plumbed, and now ready to fill. Took 3 days to build, another 4-5 to dry. Whole setup cost under $500 only because I already have the rest of the real expensive goods.

Off I go... wish me luck!

Prayers for your personal situation and also on the successful transfer! Can't wait to see some positive come out of all of this!
