Gill fluke

I have a ten gallon nano tank and I had a clown fish with gill fluke. Unfortunately, he jumped out of the tank. I am currently fish less. I have not had a fish in the tank for three weeks now, is it safe to add a new fish? How long should I wait?

If you are sure it was just flukes, the fallow period for that is 4 weeks.

Not 100% sure, but no sign of ick and he was flashing a lot. Is the time period the same for ick as gill fluke?

^^This. Going fallow for 72 days covers ich and all other known diseases, so it's what I recommend when in doubt.
