Gilroy 425g Build Thread (All Apex, all the time)

Got the dimmer modules for the ReefBrites yesterday. Have to install them. Granite is going down on the flat surfaces this morning. Corals are doing well. All new fish are hanging out doing well - though I cannot find the Yasa Hashi but given his size and nature as well as the size of the tank, that doesn't mean much. Pics will go up later of the granite once its installed.

So the Calcium Reactor is doing its thing now. Bad pH probe was causing all the headaches. Almost a week now and the pH is stable in the reactor without too many cycles of the solenoid so the bubble frequency is at a good pace. The dKh trended up nicely and is now hovering just about where I want it. I was testing with my hanna every day (or should I say Nancy was :)), then two days, now I will test every three or four days.

Do you have your par meter hooked up yet? I would like to see your numbers. I have all LEDs and my numbers are reading a bit lower than I would have guessed. I have a lot of room to increase and have begun to do that a little each week. Curious to see what your numbers look like.

Can't wait to see this completed. Do a FTS for us wannabes :)

Terence,
Beautiful looking tank. Is there anything supporting the "beer" table?

The table has two pieces of 2" steel under it to support it. It is crazy solid. Go back to the early posts and maybe there is a pic before the wood. I can't remember.

Ok. I didn't think you'd leave it hanging out there. Those beers can get mighty heavy.

What is the front-to-back width of the horizontal surface of the granite ledge running across the front of your tank? ...and the thickness of the vertical granite backsplash strip behind it?

Simply Gorgeous Terence. That granite is beautiful. You should have them wrap your canopy as well.
