Gimmito's 450 Gal L-Shaped Display

Thanks Brett...I'm working on the reef part now. ;)

I'm looking into getting 7-8 p.pictilus (anthias), but can't seem to find that many right now. I'll probably end up getting 5 black ice clowns from Proaquatix instead.

That's super cool that that Blenny took to that hole in the rock. The other fish look great as well. How much longer will they be in qt.

I need to find another diamond goby, but will QT the Chevron/Kole tangs for 6-8 weeks. I plan on giving them various temperature regimens and deworming them also.

Just curious Jim, why the various temperature regimens?

Funny you should mention that. I read that koi keepers did that so, I thought I would do that with the yellow tangs. I conditioned from the low 70's to 80.

Did I mention I came back from a trip and found my heater broke ? The temp was down to 68...and guess what ? The tangs were fine as I replaced the heater and slowly brought the temp back up over a few days. :)

I love chevron tangs! The juvies are awesome. How long will he stay that color?

...bummed out to find the tangs in QT dead this morning. :(

I did a large water change last night and dosed malachite green/formalyn. The pair of diamond gobies are fine though. I did turn off the skimmer during the treatment. I suspect the tangs were more sensitive than the gobies to the medicine. I'm also wondering if there was a drop in orp ?
