Gimmito's 450 Gal L-Shaped Display

Jim, I love the video of the yellow tangs. They were on thing before it even hit the sand.

Brett,

They can see me coming around the corner with food....they'll be waiting for me on the left front of the tank like clockwork. lol.

How's your tank coming along ? Any new additions ?

Thats so cool, they look amazing as a group. The tanks doing well, Im really running out of space. I guess its time to just sit back and watch it. I added the earlei and rhomboid the other day and they're doing really good. I have a group of 4 orange line cardinals and 1 blue eye in QT, a local guy was getting rid of them. Im not sure what Im gonna do next but dwarf angels have really caught my eye lately. I have a lot of zoanthids though so we'll see.

I love the earlei and rhomboids...I can always use more wrasses. ;) I love my blue eyes. I can't believe how much they can fit in their mouths + I seem to always have a pair breeding ! Dwarf angels are beautiful...a dream would be to have a trio of interruptus angels swimming in the main display.

We thoroughly enjoyed watching your yellow tang feeding-frenzy video!

Hi Jim, I love your tank! Are you still using Halides for your lighting?

Great videos bro!

Hi Christian...thanks for the kind words. Yes, I'm still using 3 (250 watt) metal halides. I really like the Radium 20k bulbs, a nice crisp white and no need for atinics ! I'm going to add another Lumenmax to fill in the back of the tank a bit more (plus I need to shoot another updated video of the Sea Sweep for Ed). ;)

Jim, the new Sailfin is a little cutie and it is great to see all the Zebrasomas coexisting so well together. Love that Blue Face too!1smile1

Thanks Mike and Terry. I'm thankful all the tangs get along...I would like to add a black tang down the line. The blueface is definitely my favorite fish in the tank.

I had Gen make a acrylic stand for me so I could accommodate a Geo 818 calcium reactor on top and Geo kalkwasser reactor on bottom. I'm contemplating trying bio pellets again since I have 30 fish in the main display.
