Although it has been a rough year for my family we always look on the positive side and are grateful for everything we've been given in this life. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving all. I will be working today but that's not all bad. As most of you know I manage a Cracker Barrel.
I asked a gentleman earlier this week if he was ready for Turkey Day. He smiled and didn't respond for a second. He looked up and told me that his wife had passes earlier this year and his kids couldn't make it back to TN this year for Thanksgiving so he didn't have anyone to celebrate with. I immediately invited him back to Cracker Barrel on Thanksgiving as myself and 80% of my staff are working and could keep him company. He smiled and told me I was on and he would be in for dinner.
This reminded me of the true meaning of being thankful but also remember those going through a hard time.

That's a great story Matt, and kind gesture on your part. I'm thankful for a lot of things today but since this is a reef forum, I'm thankful for; a stable tank, beautiful corals that are growing, and a great group of local reefers. Happy thanksgiving all.

nice story matt I know how it feels to be without family on the holidays, and I agree on a stabile tank is something to be thankful for and me personal I wish my coral would grow faster. that's just me tho,lol
