I do believe I have found a home here for my new hobby. I checked out the other forums for reef hobbyists and thought Reef2Reef was cut above the rest.

I will be starting my first reef tank in a few weeks and see that I have a lot of info to digest first. I have to say, this site makes it easy for the beginner to find his way around. I appreciate the fact that so many of the experts bother to post info for us just starting out. I can't wait to start out, but feel I need to digest much more info before deciding on the type of reef tank I want, the equipment I will need, my budget, and time I can dedicate to my tank. Good thing I am retired.

welcome to the forum! I think this is a fantastic hobby for a retiree :) feel free to post any questions you have along the way!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I have been spending a lot of time here filling my brain with lots of information. Clearing an area in my shop for the tank now, can't wait to get started.
