Ok, so for the last couple of years I have been using the cheap-o mag-float scapers you can pick up for $20 at PetSmart. By and large, I don't have many complaints, but lately, it seems as if the magnets are losing their ability to drag the inner portion of the scaper as I move the outer portion. So I have two questions,
1: Could someone give a replacement recommendation for a 6ft long 125gal tank?
2: Does anyone have any idea what would cause the decrease in performance? I can't decide if it has always been this way or if I am just getting less able to put up with it anymore lol.

Just switched to Tunze Care Strong Magnet Glass cleaner. Much better than the Flipper. Clean my glass in quarter of the time now And does better job with tough algae spots. Worth the price.

I believe 3/8, though I'm not sure off the top of my head.
