Glass breaking ?

Hi all,

I have a waterboox 20G, using it for 5 months. Today cleaning the sand I noticed it those lines like breaks glass in the bottom, I'm not sure if these are true breaking glass lines or just glue from the pad below. I have never drop a rock or hit the tank. Thanks all for the feedback !

Sure looks like cracks. Possible that the stand isn't level and put stress on it?

Will check if it is level, what should I do ? Is not leaking (yet) should i drained and review the stand and tank ?

If it is indeed a crack, sadly a new tank is needed. Cracks like that cannot be repaired. Really, if cracked it could start leaking bad at any moment.

Scrap the area and make sure it’s not glue or caulk. If it’s cracked transfer all livestock immediately until you get a replacement.

If they are cracks? Yes.

If it’s cracked it the bottom pane , then yes. It could go anytime.

You could have a new piece of glass cut the same foot print as the tank and silicone it to the bottom possibly. It's not like it's a huge amount of weight on a tank that size.
Don't replace the bottom pane, silicone it over the old one, then it will be double layered.

When ever you move the tank I would double check for a low/high spot in that corner. Could be something else, just good to double check.
