Glass cleaner - squeaky and jumping.

I just got a D&D bladerunner glass cleaner.
I works pretty well, but has a squeaky sound and jumping/jerking motion.
Is this perhaps related to the strength of the magnet?
It is same principle as the tunze care magnets, only parts touching the glass on the inside, is the blades.

Yes- very strong magnetization will cause this
Try wrapping outside magnet with paper towel and it may help
