I recently bought a 55g tank and stand and was wondering a good place to get it drilled in the huntsville or birmingham area. Anyone make custom canopies? My husband could but might not look that great lol. Also suggestions for LFS to check out would be great!
thanks in advance

I build canopy's and also have lots of live stock.Try a glass company and see if they will drill the tank for you.The fact it is not drilled makes it tricky cause it may not be meant to be done so.

Nobody will guarantee a drill job, with that in mind you should visit gl*******s.com. They sell kits that make drilling a tank a breeze, complete with the hole bit, overflow box, plumbing and a piece of candy. If you can drill a hole in wood, you can drill a hole in a tank following their instructional video. It is not hard at all. The cost of a kit from them is less than a glass shop will charge you and you can reuse some of the stuff.

The website is glass-holes.com with the hiphon.

If you order from them, you might need to order an extra bulkhead for your return...pay attention to what comes with the kit.
