I think you will have no problems as super glue will pretty much bond to most surfaces.
I've had difficultly super-gluing to by bare bottom tank, which is glass. It will stick at first then eventually pop off. There just isn't enough texture to get it to stick well.
That is probably because your tank was filled with water and system was previously running. If gluing to a glass frag plug it will be done outside the tank and then placed in the tank which is the way I do most of my frags to plugs. If gluing down to rocks inside of the tank I always use 2 part epoxy with super glue gel on both sides but I have never tried to glue a frag down to the bottom of an established tank. I always run sand on bottom of all my tanks so the only thing I can think of is that it might have had some type of algae or film growing on the bottom where you were trying to glue it down maybe?!?! I really don't know as I would probably never glue a frag directly to my tank glass anywhere! :smile:
