Who's using one? Do you like it? How quiet? Drilling my 150 soon debating my choices on what I wanna go with for overflow.

I have had one for about a year now and like it alright. The only issue I have experienced is that you have to turn the flow well below the advertised amount to get it quiet. I have the 700 GPH model and run it between 350-400 GPH to get it quiet. They do install easily assuming you have the right equipment and the price is reasonable.

I was thinking of buying one but watching a YouTube video it seems with the right tools and an eshopps overflow you can make one for half the price. I will be trying this soon if I don't go custom.

Yah I mean I could diy a box and go through all the work but for 100 bucks with the glass drill bit included probably not worth my time to get the tools out. Not to save 40 dollars anyways. Idk I need a frag rack and some other things made so...... If I combine my projects than its worth getting the tools dirty.

I have a 150 and ended up doing a bean animal setup instead. It is dead silent and can handle anything you throw at it. I can run my DC12000 full tilt and it works great. A little more work involved though.

Hmmm. Well thanks for making me have to do research on what that is lol.

That seems pretty awsome. Might be a bit of over kill since I will never get my skimmer that quiet lol. Food for thought for sure.

Ordered the glass holes kit last night at 5 pm. Already impressed cause It got put on a fedex truck 2 hrs later. That's pretty fast!
