Glass Holes to Eshopp Eclipse

Also, sorry about the mess. I'm swapping rooms around and the spare bedroom is being turned into an actual guest room.. and dishes.. and my hairy legs.

Dunno if this helps. One is drilled with the template and has glass showing above the overflow. I didn't like it so I drilled the other 3/8 inch to the top inner lip. Both are 29s. The pic with the measure tape in overflow is the 3/8 to inner lip.

Based off your final picture, it looks like the center of your drilled hole is slightly more than 3" from the bottom of the trim on the exterior of the tank which is about where my drilled hole is.

I think this means the overflow will fit on my tank. Thanks for your help!

No problem. Just so happen to have 2 empty stock aqueon tanks, with eshopps medium overflows. Sitting in my living room.. They come with slip/slip if that is your thing. I swaped them out and went threaded. My test runs with the hose, I found I wanted a slightly taller pipe for the herbie, there was still some slosh from the 1.5 going into the external box. Here's a better pic. About 4.75" to center

Now I'm second guessing it because your hole is over 3" from the bottom of your top trim on the exterior of the tank.

I think my best bet is to order the overflow and return it if it doesn't fit.

Again, thank you very much for helping me out!

Did you ever get this working? Also the new Fiji overflows look good. I wish they would provide a template that's downloadable so us old glassholes users could convert.
