I have a 25 gallon cube and I was wondering what thickness glass for a lid. Will it effect my par too bad?

Followup:
Local glass shop quote came in at $160...
1/4;18x18 w/ hole..

Looks like one day glass wins.
A " steal" at $60..

I tried making my own mesh lid but I didn't do very well and it started growing algae on it. I would try it again and I did like the look of the mesh plus allowing more light and O2 in is always a plus.

Ok guys so I went to the glass shop and asked them to call us back with a quote. I forgot to ask them about the hole I wanted but it will give me a ballpark price anyways. I would probably get 1/8” tempered glass. I am still figuring out what size for my feeding hole. I think that this hole would help with condensation a little bit. This is what I’m looking at for feeding hole.
