Glass polishing

hi guys

I got a quick question, is there a way to polish glass or is there a product i can use to polish my glass if i have water and all my livestock in it?, is that even possible?

I use straight rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth to clean the outside of my glass.

With a boiling point just above room temperature it quickly evaporates and leaves very little behind.

I use the same to clean the glass inside of my terrariums, i take out the inhabitants while it drys. Never have any issues.

I worked for many years with glass in the high end frameless shower business. Polishing Glass is an art and sometimes impossible to fix. I know of NO way to polish glass underwater in the aquarium.
This is how I always tried to remove scratches from glass, but they can only be minor light scratches.

i was suposed to polish it before adding the water, but i thought the scratches werent that bad until i added the light, and saw it WAS really bad

I feel Ya had the same issue till it drove me nuts. I replaced the tank & use it for a sump. Sorry Man.

I know the feeling. Bought a used tank, saw a couple of scratches that I thought were barely visible. Figured with moving water they would become almost invisible. Boy was I wrong. Two things I wish I could have done was go back and clean up the silicone and polish out the scratches.
