It has been about 3 years since my last set up and doing some internet searching etc. Reef technology has blown up in that time frame. It may be a simple piece of equipment, but a necessary one.

I used to use a Mag-Float to clean my aquarium glass. I had issues with sand getting caught and scratching the glass.

What does everyone use to clean your tanks?

My new set up is an in-wall system with a new set of challenges in this department.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Mag-float is still one of the most popular glass scrubber used today. Not much has changed in regards to this except some have blades to scrape coralline off.

Flipper Max A+ on my 3/4" Glass, blows away Mag Float and the inner portion has a larger footprint to get in to smaller places and the inside part is half as thick as the mag float or magnavore. This helps clean areas where coral is close to glass. The Max works on 1/2 glass as well, but is perfect on 3/4".
