Glass thickness for 18x18x8 tank

I plan on making my own frag tank at some point, however I am wondering what thickness I should do for the glass that I will be using. I am thinking quarter inch or should I go thinner/thicker

Either no brace or glass center brace.

Even at 8 inches tall, I would go with 1/4 plate. Not so much from strength of water pressure, but from bumping the tank or such.

I have an 18x18x9 tank that uses 1/4" glass
