Glass thickness for a 27" tall tank

So, I'm getting quotes on a 48x36x27 (200 gal) starfire peninsula tank. The glass thicknesses range from 1/2 to 5/8 to 3/4 inch. Anyone have strong feelings on which is better?

euro bracing?

If the tank will have euro bracing 1/2" is fine.

Going to need a little more info to make a good decision. Is the tank rimless, plastic frame or euro braced? Internal or external overflow?

Eurobraced, with an external (notched) overflow on one end. Some estimates suggest trim and some don't.

If the tank is eurobraced I would say 5/8 is good. Rimless would have to be 3/4 if even possible.

I assume rimless is the weakest design, but which is the strongest- plastic frame or eurobrace? I don't actually know how much support the plastic frame adds. The Marineland Deep Dimension 200 is the same size as this but uses 1/2 inch glass, fwiw.
