90g mixed reef. I went with glass tops due to evaporation and the amount of ro/di I was running thru. Since being placed I still have some evaporation but nearly as much. Now I've decided to start with corals in my tank. Couple Monti frags, apple jack favia and zoa's to start a zoa garden. Question is does enough light thru the glass tops when condensation forms to give the corals what they need? Or should I remove totally and going with the mesh tops just to keep fish from jumping out? But then I run back into evaporation and ro/di use. I make my own water so not a huge issue. What are your thoughts?

I have a top. Its acrylic not glass, but that should not matter. My corals and nem do just fine under my kessils. If it gets a bit of scum build up I clean it with a magnet cleaner

No because mine has openings which I cover with egg crate. This way i can do maintance and feeding

I have a sump and skimmer going. So water movement and air addition I don't think is an issue. Or is it?

lapin, did you build the tank yourself? Would love to Max out my cabinet and build my own sump. But really no experience with acrylic. Any chance you have tips or videos? Resources?
