Looking to replace my old glass tank. For 5x2x2 dimension, which is better , rimless glass tank or acrylic tank?
It will be for mixed reef tank

Thanks

I like glass over acrylic, but you should thing about a possible euro brace of some sort for support cause 5' is pretty long whiteout any sort of brace

I like glass better, as well, however for those specific dimensions, you may have an easier time getting acrylic.

Not sure a 5' long rimless would be a good idea unless it is incredibly thick, or eurobraced.

I have had both. Acrylic was much lighter but the scratches drove me nuts. I love my Red Sea Reefer 350 but it is quite a bit smaller than you want. I don't think I would buy acrylic again unless that was my only option in the size I wanted.

Starphire is almost as clear as acrylic and way stronger, and scratch resistant.
