So I have concern with fish jumping a Clow jumped after 2 years in the tank.want to use glass covers but concerned with them lowering par or certain parts of the light spectrum. They also tend to pick up salt and get cloudy. How do you keep them clean?

I use mesh over glass. If you use glass it’s just part of maintenance to hose them off in the sink every so often.
