Is that quite hard algae? Your best bet is to go at it with a stainless steel razor blade scraper if it is, snails wont touch it.

I have the same algae growing especially thick on the bottom 1” of my front glass. Not sure why it can’t grow on the sides or rock instead but it is what it is. I haven’t found anything to take it off as efficiently as a razor blade. My urchin will graze a bit of it when he runs into it but other than that no snails will put a dent in it.

Could be the beginning stages of coralline algae. Might be worth buying a Mag-Float cleaner with a blade attachment. Could be growth there more than anywhere else because of flow.

Ok I’ll try the blade thanks if you find something that eats it let me know

I would go with the tunze magnet for cleaning it doesn’t make contact on the glass on the inside other then the blades. So there’s no chance of getting something stuck between it and the glass. Scratching your tank. Also works very well!
