Does anyone have any recent feedback on glasscages.com custom tank builds? Or even stock tanks? I'd love to hear positive and negative reviews. Very often you only hear the bad.

I'm considering having them build a custom 150/180 for me and can only find old reviews that seemed to hinge more on the negative than not.

Price is obviously a driving factor or I'd be hitting up reef saavy. Also I can make a cool weekend trip from VA to TN to pick it up myself.

I'm looking to build something around 48"x36"x18-20". Give or take a few inches in footprint.

I know someone who used them recently for a couple different tank builds. Their prices seemed reasonable but the quality was lacking IMO. The glass didn't appear to be low iron glass/starfire. Scratched super easy and had a heavy green tinge to it. If you have the coin go with Reef Savvy

I purchased the glass for the viewing panels of my 480 and 720 gallon tanks. It was packaged up well and was free of scratches. It was 3/4" low iron glass. I also purchased standard 3/4" glass and there is a noticeable difference in the clarity of the glass. I met the truck about an hour from my house for the pickup.

Yes it is a big difference in a positive direction. I attached a picture. I overlapped the 3/4 standard over the top of the 3/4 low iron glass.
