Glasscages Visit Today

Got back from a trip to Glasscages today to pick up a new stand and canopy for the 120 I picked up last weekend. I was out there several (~12) years ago, and they don't enjoy the greatest reputation for customer service. It was fantastic! They were super pleasant, and the proprietor showed us all around the place, which has expanded quite a bit since my last visit. They have a new freshwater retail business, and quite a bit of fish for sale. He also told us that they are working on a saltwater facility that is expected to be open in 2-3 months. They're apparently selling rock and salt now, but we didn't see any of that. All in all, a great visit, and I wanted to share with the community.

Wow, big changes out there.

When we went out there for the frag tank this past winter, the people we met were pretty nice. One guy, young guy, can't remember his name, walked us all around the place and was climbing up into racks and digging through old storage rooms for the right size tank for us. Super nice. The lady (I assume the wife) was a little brusque at first, but she warmed up quickly. Never spoke to the owner. All in all, I'd consider using them again, but there are quite a few bubbles in the sealant of our 50 long, so at least that part of the frequent complaints holds up.
