Update:
Unfortunately, after buying a couple of frags locally and not dipping or quaranting new additions, I noticed 2-3 red bugs on my Walt Disney. (This happened Monday).
I freaked out and I pulled my WD, Vivids confetti and Vivids four loko for a dip using CoralRX. Well, I think I went a bit hard on the dip, my WD and Four loko look pale and stressed out.
I am still ashamed of my lack of responsibility, I’ve always heard about the consequences and dangers of not dipping coral. (Reason I didn’t dip my corals is because they came from a person I know and trust).
In my efforts to eradicate this problem, last night I treated my tank with a strong dose of Interceptor. I expect to be red bug free in 24 hrs. I will be doing another interceptor treatment next week and a third one the week after.
Additionally, instead of buying a RRC Jawdropper I decided to use that money and set up a QT. I placed an order yesterday with acrylic aquariums and I’m expecting to receive my QT today.
I will keep y’all updated.

Received the QT to be yesterday, now I just need a stand and a light to start my QT system.
Any suggestions for lighting?
Tank is 16x16x8
I don’t know if I should go with a radion or a cheap black box led.

I moved to San Diego about 3 years ago but Born and raised in the east side of EP,
That’s nice to hear, when I was there the reefing community wasn’t strong, you had the OG’s that pretty much laughed at or ignored the new reefers.. at least I experienced that. ( but I’m talking when Aqua life was still there).
I think we met a couple of times at the LFS.

We Probably met then (Saltwater Heaven or Sea Creatures, maybe SaltyFin?), I remember Aqualife, Im on the Far East Side. I would drive all the way out there and then they wouldnt be opened. I did that a few times and stop going after that. Then they burned down and then opened up again. Ive never been back.

Weekend Update:
I received the QT this week, yesterday I builded the stand. I just need to find a light and a return pump for the QT to be up and running today.
It is nice to have everything finally organized, now I just need to find a way to hide all the cords coming out of the control cabinet.
