Glowing corals/How to photograph?

I was trying to take a pic of my flourescent orange coral but camera phone just wont pick up the flourrscent color under the actinic lighting. Anybody?

Take the pic with flash on, then take it again with it off.
Should reset the white balance to get a good picture.
Then finish it off with a photo editing app

Haha yup take a picture and Photoshop it. Seems to be the most popular method these days . I can't take a good picture to save my life so I don't even try.

There must be some trick to capturing the flourescent light being given off by the coral

I just turned my blues on and took these pics, most corals still closed.

Without flash (don't move the phone or re focus)

That's with no editing whatsoever
And that's exactly what they look like to me

Then with a free editing app
Make it really nice

It's only for iPhone and it's called photoGene4 it's $3-4 but it's worth every penny

Like I just a took this pic with blues on and it's ok with just my phone

But this is actually how it looks to me and I used the app for 2seconds to achieve this
