I was gluing some new frags and accidentally got reef glue on the polyp itself. What can I do to get the glue off of the polyp? Is this something I should also worry about?

usually that results in a melted polyp when i do that. I try not to even get it on the base for the same reason. Best to use bone cutters to cut away a piece of the frag plug to glue down.

one way I have found when doing this is let the glue set for an hour if the zoa is not making any progress towards freeing itself ( as they can if it's not too bad) go ahead and get it out and gently break away the glue after it's hardened zoas are quite resilient be gentle but firm try to grasp the glue on both sides and twist.

You can glue zoas to straight cyanoacrylate, atleast most of the ones I’ve glued have survived
